Who Is Eligible?

To apply for a Super Visa, you must:

Be the parent or grandparent of a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
Apply from outside Canada
Provide a letter of invitation from your child or grandchild in Canada
Have valid Canadian medical insurance with at least $100,000 in emergency coverage for a minimum of one year
Pass an immigration medical exam
Demonstrate intent to return to your home country
