GCMS Notes

We Can Help You with Your GCMS Notes

Understand what’s really happening with your Canadian immigration application.

Anyvisa Immigration offers secure, fast, and professional access to your GCMS Notes —the most detailed and up-to-date record of your immigration case as stored in Canada’s official system.

What Are GCMS Notes?

GCMS(Global Case Management System) Notes are internal documents used by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to record every thing related to your immigration file. These notes include:

Officer comments and observations
Application processing history
Status updates and review stages
Correspondence and decision rationale
Background and security checks

Whether you're applying for Permanent Residency (PR), Study Permit, Work Permit, Visitor Visa, or Express Entry, GCMS Notes give you the full picture — unlike the limited info in your online IRCC account.

Why Request GCMS Notes?

Thousands of applicants choose to order GCMS Notes to:

Check application delays
Understand visa refusals
Clarify document concerns
Prepare for appeals or reapplications
Monitor officer decision-making

These notes can often reveal reasons for delay, miscommunications, or missing documents — helping you respond proactively and avoid future mistakes.

General Consultation

If you have not received your Acknowledgment of Receipt (AOR) then your GCMS Notes most likely have not been created yet. In exceptional situations, we do request GCMS Notes without AOR if they can help to find out whether the Immigration Office has started processing the application or not.

It takes at least 30 working days to complete the request and takes longer if Citizenship and Immigration Canada has to collect information from overseas offices.

CAIPS vs. ATIP vs. GCMS: What’s the Difference?

GCMS Notes

GCMS Notes are detailed records from IRCC’s current system used to process Canadian immigration and citizenship applications.

ATIP

ATIP is the formal process used to request government records, including GCMS Notes.

CAIPS

CAIPS was the older immigration processing system used before GCMS.

In short: ATIP is the request process, GCMS Notes are the records, and CAIPS is the older system.
