Since the Brazilian visa process had become easier this year, the country keeps accepting more and more visitors. Since January 25, 2018, when the launch of Brazilian e-visas took place, there has been a 70% increase in visa applications from U.S. visitors (comparing to the last year). The officials of the Brazilian Tourism could expect the successful outcome of the program and so far they’ve been very impressed by the statistics.

“This first step was fantastic, and this makes me believe the projections could be even higher.” – said Vinicius Lummertz, president of the Brazilian Tourism Board. Currently, Argentinian citizens are the 1st largest tourist group traveling to Brazil. The 2nd place is taken by Americans. Each year about 550K Americans travel to Brazil, and this number is definitely expected to grow within next 4 years.
