LGBTQ2 Immigration: Rainbow Refugee Assistance Partnership
The ongoing support for LGBTQ2 communities from Canadian Government is known around the world. However, today the Government of Canada announced even broader assistance by establishing the Rainbow Refugee Assistance Partnership.
This program will support more Canadians in privately sponsoring LGBTQ2 refugees who are facing violence and persecution in their countries. It was established in cooperation with the Rainbow Refugee Society to help strengthen collaboration between LGBTQ2 related organizations and the refugee settlement communities in Canada.
“LGBTQ2 refugees have faced unimaginable circumstances just for being who they are. Canada will protect them and help keep them safe. The LGBTQ2 community has been steadfast in their mission in raising awareness of the unique needs of LGBTQ2 refugees among Canadians and helping these most vulnerable people feel safe...” – The Honourable Ahmed Hussen, Minister of Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship.
We, at AnyVisa are fully committed to help all people without discrimination and we are proud to acknowledge the fact that we have multiple clients from LGBTQ2 community in Western Canada over the past 10 years.
