Express Entry points dramatically increased
The Express Entry System creates a pool of candidates for immigration to Canada. It is an electronic application management system, which covers Canada’s key economic immigration programs. All-programs draws under the Express Entry system and is typically held every two weeks.
The most recent Express Entry draw was held on May 29th, 2019. However, lots of candidates, who thought they could apply for Permanent Residency through the Express Entry system, now have to postpone their process, since the minimum CRS score was 470.
However, we encourage those candidates not to give up, even if this new Express Entry draw has exceeded their points. The minimum CRS score is constantly changing, and most likely it will go down eventually giving more chances for Express Entry candidates to apply for Permanent Residency as soon as possible.
There is always a possibility to improve your Express Entry points through various options:
- Language score (by increasing the overall level of language knowledge and proving it within IELTS or CELPIP test),
- Canadian work experience,
- Review of your background data,
- Proper qualification under NOC,
- Acquiring LMIA (certified job offer form a Canadian employer),
- and other practical solutions.
