Attention, Cuba! Changes to IRCC services in Havana

Written by Anyvisa Services on . Posted in Immigration Blog.

Visa to Canada for Cubanos is still available, even though Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) reduced its programs and services in Havana, Cuba.

From now on at the Embassy of Canada in Havana, such services as visitor visas, study/work permits, or Permanent Residence interviews will no longer be offered.

At the same time, there are some services still available. The Canadian Embassy in Havana will keep accepting Canadian passport, citizenship certificate, and permanent resident travel document applications. Applicants may also apply for PR under economic and family class programs. If applicants need to give their biometrics, they will need to travel outside Cuba.

If you want to apply for a visitor visa to Canada, or Study Permit, or Work Permit, you can still do that – simply send your request on the designated page, or fill out the Free Assessment form right away. Our visa services are available for any type of temporary visa application or any other immigration issue.
